Does anyone know if the new TF box intake fits under a 2.5 cowl?
It looks really tall in person.
Thanks....

Trick Flow themselves would know this Im sure. If it helps my R with a 1" spacer fits under my 2.5 cowl. Maybe you can use that for a comparison. Good Luck

I know a guy that has that intake on a 347 and he is using the Harwood 3" hood and he says it barely fits. Im not sure if he is using a drop mount or not to give you a reference.
I had the box intake on my 351 and had to switch it cause I would have needed a 5" hood. I had thought about having the aluminium spacer milled down to a half inch which could be done no problem to gain a little clearance.
I think you could get it under there some how if you had to.

I thought about milling that spacer also. I cannot believe how tall it is in person.
Thanks guys!

It fits fine. I have it on my 302 with the Cervini's 2.5" cowl hood and I have zero clearance issues.
I was thinking about switching from my gt40 to the box r. 306, tfs heads and stage 1 cam, ported gt40 lower, 04 PMS, s-trim, 50lb inj no fmu, about 13 psi boost 93 octane 485 rw.hp.5600rpm 523 ft.tq. 4700 rpm. It was a little lean and needs more fuel system and will be addressing that next. I think the gt 40 is holding it back. Question is how are the street mannners of the box r manifold? I dont want to give up too much low speed torque as it is a great driver now.
