    SN Times on Mustangs??

I have been looking everywhere to see what track times people have been putting down with these chargers and can't find any. I have seen some VR-4 times, but no SN89 and SN 92 times.
    1992 GT:

    1993 Notch:
306, ported TW heads, TF intake, F-303 cam, full Maximum Motorsport suspension and some cool paint. Soon to have a SN-89 charger on it!---SOLD :(

I've seen people with stock motors going mid 12s to low 13s.

On a Stock '89 5.0 with a SN89 the average 5speed with 3.08 gears, STOCK tires was running 13.5 compared to the same car running on the same day 14.4 and that was putting the timing at 14 degrees and they put it back at 10 degrees when adding the blower. I was at this location and helped with the install back in '89 for Super Ford magazine.

My 89LX runs 11.66 @ 115mph with an SN89. 3200lbs, 3.55, E303 cam, Edelbrock heads/intake. Just installed an upgraded impeller so hopefully it goes a bit quicker.

Nice times. I got a great deal on my sn89 with the upgraded impellar and decided to throw it on my 93 Notch. The car is mainly a cruiser, but I would love to see it run a high 11 if pushed. I will have to weigh my car, but it is a non power car and originally a no option 4 banger. My motor is similar to yours except ported twisted wedges, f-cam and 3.73's.

High twelves aren't difficult with a stock plus hung-on parts 5.0 at that weight. Mine's about 3200 w. me, even with full power, and if I had slicks that still stuck mid-low twelves at 108 or so is easily doable. I can do a 12.8X without trouble on a stock 4 link with lakewood traction arms.

I would need a twin Vr4 to get those results :weird:

Pavement Pounde your problem is that your engine is using the factory TBI and your factory heads. Replacing your fuel injection system even with a Holley TBI system that you can tune yourself is a big improvement. By the way what is high test gas costing you these days.

I am working on a pair of ported aluminum GMPPheads and a blowercam to start with and see what will happen.
    Check

And notice that we are on top of the gas price :(

How can you or what are you using to tune this new combination since that truck is going to go nuts with that cam. In the past I have converted a Victor 454 intake into separate port injection then used a 75mm throttle body and elbow and then used a Mega-squirt with a Mustang injector harness.

As long as the cam provides enough vacuum for the computer all wil be fine, it wil not be a wild cam, just more lift.
I have learned a lot from the guys at http://www.454ss.com especialy when it comes to keeping the stock tbi.
I also want to use a "boost a pump" kit from Kenne Bell http://www.kennebell.net/accessories...boostapump.htm
If the engine is running lean, witch is not the case on this moment.
