I'm building a blown 383 sbc with 14mm cogs and set up for 10-12 psi - I'm going with mechanical fuel injection. I'm doing this as cash is available so its going to take a while. I'll provide pics when avail!

It's a gas set up, cast rotors with teflon strips. Don Hampton said it's a pretty serious blower. It's still up in the air for the mechanical injection since I want to run it on the street. I've heard it can be a pain from some and others say it's (MFI) doable and will run OK. As long as I can get some sort of part throttle response and it doesn't wash out the cylinder walls or don't have to rebuild the cam mounted fuel pump every week I should be OK. If not I'll go with carbs. The build up is going to take a while, I'm in no rush and this is all for fun. Now how do I explain the blower to my wife...
Anyway,blownzoom440 I may be asking you questions in the near future!
