    Headers--Stepped or just Go Large?

I am building a Supercharged motor and looking to buy longtubes

    342 dart block
    AFR 205 w 75cc exhaust
    victor jr.
    Comp Cam (.565 .580 114 lobesep)
    Art Carr AOD (3.73)
2.5 inch X-Pipe and mandrel bent
    Vortech Supercharger

this car is a weekend driver, 90% street

    should i go with the Stepped headers (1 5/8 - 1 3/4)
    or
should i go with the Full 1 3/4 inch headers

    advantages?...disadvantages?

I'd go at least 1 3/4". There should be no disadvantages.
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

well....the reason i only list these two options is because of my price range and custom headers are a must for my car.....

A 70 mustang with an aod only has one place i know of that can make them without the car there.....

    Ah! Kooks? I'd do 1 3/4" then. Or a 1 3/4" to 1 7/8".

AFR recomends 1 7/8 with the 205 heads.
