    Novi 1000 pulley combos, boost observed, ect.

    Well this thread is long overdue I guess. Single and double belt guys post away.

    I had my stock SB 302 with TW heads, Holley2 intake and TFS#1 cam. Installed my Novi 1000 with the stock pullies and inlet pipe and C&L 76 and observed 5.5psi @6000rpms. I then went to a 4" inlet powerpipe and seen 7 psi with alot more torque. Then I installed the 8" crank pulley and observed 10-11 psi with even more torque.

    I'll update the list when everyone puts in thier $.02, please add to this if you have good info to add.

    1. HCI 302 with 3.5"/6.87",stock inlet=5.5psi@6000
    2. HCI 302 with 3.5"/6.87" with 4" powerpipe=7psi@6000
    3. HCI 302 with 3.5"/8" with 4" powerpipe=10psi@6000
    89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:





    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

    stock pulley & afm powerpipe 5.5 psi @ 6000rpm
    8" renegade pulley/ stock blower pulley/ afm powerpipe 11 psi @ 6000rpm

    Single belt set-up:

    F-150 crank & stock s/c pulley = 7-8#'s (H/I and 130k plus stock shortblock)1
    F-150 crank & SCH 2.75: s/c pulley = 13-14#'s :D (H/C/I Dart 331 8.5:1 compression) :D

    2 Belt setup
    Stock pullies w/morpheus powerpipe =6psi@5600
    stock crank pulley w/3" blower pulley=10psi@5600

    All through a stock longblock from throttle body to pan.

    Hi, Guys new to the site. I have a Novi 1000 kit on my 90 mustang with tfs heads,tfs 1 cam,edelbrock rpm 2 intake and a 75mm t-body. Currently with all stock pulleys both blower and crank pulley im seeing 5.5-6.0 psi of boost @5800. I was wondering what kind of boost increase i would see by switching to the 3.00 inch pulley instead of the 3.50 that is currently there. Any help would be great. Thanks GUYS:D

    I would recommend swapping the crank pulley before the blower pulley. Changing the blower pulley voide warranty. Just a thought....

    The car only is driven 2,000 to 3,000 kms a year so. Basically 5 or 6 thousand of kms of use and the warranty is over anyway so i dont think that is an issue. So what kind of boost am i looking at????

    Single belt Novi1k setup, 8" crank pulley (ASP), stock s/c pulley, all accessories minus smog and power steering ---> 15 psi babbyyy!

    This was done on a stock compression H/C/I 302.

    My 302 with TFS 1 Cam, TFS TW heads and Edelbrock RPM II with a 8 Inch crank Pulley and 3 inch supercharger pulley make 13PSI @ 6000.
    Recently dyno'd on a Mustang Dyno 461RWHP and 509RWTQ

    finally got the belt slip issue fixed.
    crower 15510 cam
    tw heads, 1.6's
    track heat intake
    long tubes
    x pipe
    306,
    power pipe, installed backwards btw, lawl
    old skool novi 1k, single belt
    16 psi at 6000 prm bitches!!
    3 in blower, 8 in crank
