you said 22deg at peak HP, but look at your datalog.. i bet you had 25-27 when you pulled the shifter into third and the boost and RPM dropped.. you probably had 22 at the top of second (less load), but when you shifted, it went UP (and thats backwards thinking)..

anyhow, no prob on the insight.. good luck..
Do you guy ever just leave the boost settings at 0, and just use the wot table? Kinda like locking in the timing?

yup, all the time.. thats actually what we do on bob cooks car now... if you know what kind of boost its going to make, its real easy... back in the day, we use to pull the spout out and just run straight timing... set it at 22 and leave it alone... only prob is starting and drivability... but, for example, i have a bunch of cars that i just set the timing at 1 number for all RPMS..

That sounds like what I should do, especially with cogs!

Suspension, 10" tires, ysi (not a ys that I thought was a ysi), 6 more pounds of boost, and other changes here and there. Shooting for 8.70's or 8.80's.

    update

Made 825hp to the tire, with 21lbs of boost and 22 degrees of timing on the dyno. With more power to be had.

Right after the dyno, we decided to take it around the block. And this is what happened.:thumbsup
