    Finally rebuilding the VR4

Got the rebuild kit and began to remove the bearings and didn't know to take the oil pump apart to get the plunger out, so I sent the whole shaft back to have Craig assemble the bearings. Trying to remember everything from when I used to lurk here...so I need to leave the rear seal out, make sure the bearings/races are wet with ATF, and the torque ft/lbs shouldn't be over 55? This will see a lot of miles, many daily driven. Anyone do an actual writeup on the rebuild process?
Thanks guys, I hope to get her running again before spring!

    I wrote a small story about my SN93 http://www.454ss.com/Articles_new/paxrebuild.asp

1 year after that I upgraded to the VR4.
Perhaps these pic's help you out:

My inch/lbs on the pulley is 42 completly installed without oil.
I also use a big oilcooler.
