    how much boost from sn 2000

    Would like to know how much boost I can get out of sn 2000 with upgraded impeller.

    8psi with a 6" crank and 3.75 blower pulley.

    3.5 pulley

    I have a 3.5 on hand is that too much, if so were can I get 3.75

    if you shift @ 5800 which is peak for a 5.0 anyways you will be OK. At least try the 3.5" and see what you get in boost.

    My motor is not stock, have been shifting around 6800

    I you been shifting at a real 6800 rpm then you will need a 4.25" pulley to keep from destroying the unit.

    chip

    Okay if I use the 3.5 and put a5800 chip in my msd will that work. Right now I only see 4.5 to 5 pounds in the intake would like to see around 8

    All you can do is try it. If your still running a 6-rib you will probably start belt slip by the time you reach 5800 rpm.

    Thanks for all your help. I am seeing around 7-8 pounds in the intake. I am shifting around 5800 to 6000. I also changed intake and used a ported gt-40 lower and a cartech upper. This made the change in power that I was looking for. thanks again for all help
