    SN 2000?

I just completed the SN 2000 install on my 89 gt but have not fired it up yet.I wanted to know if I needed to change the timing as per paxton instructions on the 8 psi kit since I have a msd btm installed, cant I just dial away timing with it instead of actually timing it ??.I have a 306 E303 cam,TFS heads ,1.6RR,Cobra intake,JBA headers with full exhaust,255 fuel pump etc.

Yes, you can, until the BTM craps out and leaves you with 36* total and blows the heads off.... Not a big MSD fan myself. If everything works, you can do that, yes.

Just do the math using the BTM to give yourself 19* total at WOT using 91 octane if you see 8psi.
