Thread: Volute won't tighten?

    Question Volute won't tighten?

    Tighten the allen bolts but the volute will still turn.

    They have the steel washers underneath and contact the surface but it is just not tight enough.

    Any ideas?

    try tweeking the, um, what are they called, washer thingies. does it have a large O-ring ?

    Someone had replaced the hardened AN washers with standard washers.

    Going back to hardened Grade 8 AN washers solved the problem.:happy:
