    Fresh Motor and SN/89

OK, I just got my car back after a complete rebuild. (93 lx 5.0) When I say complete I mean, new 306 with stock heads but forged internals, e cam and BBK headers, H pipe, and flowmaster american thunder. My SN89 was rebuilt by CUND racing with the upgraded parts and has zero miles. I am still in the 500 mile break in but I got in it a little today and could only get about 4psi out of it. I only get up to about 4500 RPM's. Should I expect more with much higher RPM's. I know that with a S/C boost and RPM's go hand in hand, but it seems low to me. What do you think? Thanks

It's fine. You need 5500-6000 rpm to see 5 pounds on stock pulleys with stock heads. Having the blower makes the gaspy top end of E7s go away nicely.
