351w novi 1200 kit on 302

ive got a novi 1200 blower i bought for my 351w,but would like to use it on my 5.0 82 gt mustang for a while,before i pull the front of the 302,what problems am i going to run into using the 351w brackets on the 302-anyone done this?

The 351 is taller so none of the bolt location holes will work. You need to drill all new holes and weld the correct spacers onto the bracket. Now I have converted the 302 brackets to work on a 351 and should work the other direction unless they removed more metal on the 351 bracket when manufactured.

its been afew months since i posted this question,
the shortblock is close to being done.
my question is why do i have to drill the bracket when it bolts to the head?302-351 heads are the same so am i wrong thinking the belt size will be my only issue?

Same answer given back in April. 351w is taller so if the bracket was made for a 351w the bolts will not align.

The Block deck height is different not the head it'self.
