    novi install hood clearance ?

I just installed my novi 1000 on my 90 notchback and I do not have the hood back on yet (took it off because of some other work that needed to be done) , but it looks like the hood isn't going to close , is this normal or did i maybe do something wrong?

This is normal - did you clock the blower? If not you will have to remove the head unit, loosen the screws around the two pieces and rotate it down.

There are several small bolts around the housing that have little triangular hold-downs under them, loosen all of these and rotate the discharge as far as it will go clockwise (looking from the back of the blower as it mounts) Tighten the same bolts back down, this should give you ample clearance. Rest assured, this is normal, lol. Just don't understand why Paxton has not done this outta the factory.
