    Draw Through Carb VR4 Carbon Seal?

    I did some research on the carbon seal, seal plate, and thrust collars used in draw through turbochargers, and am looking for anyone with some insight as to whether or not the carbon seal on the VR4 is as effective.

    Anyone have any info?

    Craig at PW told me they had done some testing back in the day. You might want to give him a phone call. I have seen those old turbo setups, so I know what you mean. Unless you were looking for something "different", I don't think it would work better than a blow-thru setup.
