Cool what is your best converter stall speed ?

for street-strip cars with centrifugal supercharging
what stall speed converters have you tried and
    what worked best for you?

    i have a t-400 with a off the shelf 2500.stall converter
i have the idea and suggestions that a 3000-3200.stall converter would be better.
i am running 275-60-15 MT drag.radials, the car is traction limited.
obviously i will be doing more work for my 68.chevelle 427BBC car to weight transfer.
looking for more suggestions on combinations that are working

You probably will not find some magical converter that will solve your traction issues. Though some will be better than others. The most important will be power managament at the launch "killing timing" so it hooks. Basically you need to be able to juggle power managment, suspension, and torque converter.

If you notice, alot of the really quick guys that run the 275 tires all share one thing in common.....A Powerglide! The 2.4x 1st gear in the trans will tend to hit the tires pretty hard

A call to Lenny at Ultimate Converter Concepts or even PTC will point you in the right direction
