Eric did you have any idle issues with your E cam?

I'll bet you it will run faster than a 14.0. ;)
Looks GOOD!

I had to get an idle air bypass plate to set idle. The car didnt like to idle at first, but it got better with some miles. I think that for an off the shelf cam it works great on a blower car.
Have fun

I set my base timing at 12* and put the spout back in.
I installed the ford bypass plate and took about 20 turns out of the idle adjuster screw on the throttle body. I then followed the Corral instructions for resetting my idle. I never did check the TPS but I'm sure it was over a volt as far open as the throttle blade was at idle.
I will say that as soon as I took the throttle blade back to closed and put the idle bypass plate in the car started right up and the idle was way smoother and I could put the car in gear without it dying on me.
After resetting the idle to around a thousand it now idles pretty smooth with an occasional surge. I can now put the car in gear without stalling and I can pull up to a stop light without the car stalling.
So I will just have to keep driving it and see what happens.
My last little hurdle to overcome is my code 41 and 91 with the check engine light on.
After some searching on the corral I double checked the grounds from the harness at the back of the intake down to the head bolt hole and up to the firewall. Cleaned and reasembled those grounds and I now have less than .3 ohms from the O2s to the fire wall.
Now I am stumped as to why I may have killed my 1 year old O2s.
Any ideas guys on the codes.
I'm gonna throw my 12 year old O2s in the car just to see what happens.
As it stands right now I am getting the check engine light to come on like clockwork about ten minutes after the car is started and driven.

Did you run any type of racing gas? The lead kills the o2's.

No I never did any race gas eric.
I just spent 85 bucks on some new ones and so far no engine light after about 20 miles and 6 startups.
The car pulls like a mofo when it hits boost and I'm confident that with cool air and my DRs on the back I can get into the 11s.:)
My 1 year old Bosch O2s were pitch black on the end and I'm sure they got both contaminated from spilled anti freeze and also the overly rich mixture at idle.
Oh yeah I have to say once again that with the idle at 1k and the car in park the cam sounds mean with a lot of lope and with dumps on the car it is fuggin loud.:)
I am suprised at the amount of lope at idle for such a tame cam. I think I may still be running a little on the fat side at idle.

Me love the lope on me E-cam too.:yep:
I will somtimes get a lawn chair and sit behind my idling car for hours. Guess that all this exposure to unburnned gas explains a few things.
