    adjust the bypass valve

    On the Bypass valve there is a screw, what does it do and what do i do with it?

    The set screw is used to adjust the base position of the actuator. When I am installing the valve I will usually put my finger on the butterfly and hold it shut and tighten the screw until I can feel it just starting to push the valve open. On a few cars that did not have that screw tightened up the butterfly would snap closed and sometimes go over center and get stuck closed.

    ok, so that doesn't regulate when the valve opens at a certain amount of boost or anything?

    Nope the screw is not related to boost level.

    EA
    More boost then a 20psi gauge.
