rich at start up hard start

I have a 1995 Corvette LT1 with a vortech supercharger. When I try to firer her it takes several seconds to fire and then it is way to rich. A couple revs and it clears it out. any suggestions. I did install a Walbro intank pump(255) bypassing the one from Vortech because with the stock pump along with the inline that Vortech supplies I was running out of fuel at WOT. Would a make a difference if I reconnected the inline. May I be pushing to much fuel and not allowing the FMU to work properly? Thanks

On Mustangs that are way rich to start we floor the gas pedal when starting the car which actually shuts of the fuel injectors for a moment and allows the car to fire right up. You may want to tryt that on your Vette.

I thought mine was the only one that did that:D It must be because of larger than factory injectors?
