Guys, what is the main advantage to having the MAF as a blow through setup vs on the intake side on the blower like vortechs? IM sure it deals withthe intercooler, but I would like to hear what others have to say

well with the i/c i'm told you have to run a blow through.. I don't run an intercooler and i originally had mine set up so a pro m 77mm was in the drivers side fender.. then i plumbed the bypass air back in just before the blower.. with the draw through you can not let any bypass air escape into the atmosphere.. well the problem i had was the bypass air was back traking into the meter and screwing up my voltage readings under vacumn when i went abouve 10-11 lb pulley. I've come to the conclusion that the best way to run the ATI's is to use a Univer blow through.. They are absolutely awesome IMO.

I also tried the draw thru approach with absolutely no luck! I am running the 2 core and my car would barely run. I have since switched back to the trusty Pro M bullet.
