    ASP 8" Crank pulley - boost upgrade for 1K!

    Hey Guys,

    I am selling my ASP 8" crank pulley I bought of Goliath. The pulley looks awesome and will push the 1K to 13-15 lbs.

    I am looking for $145 + shipping.

    The pulley is perfect, only selling because I would like to spend the money somewhere else right now. I still have a month of winter to go and need some more important parts.

    I was the "original" owner of that pulley, and I can speak for Chuck and vouch to say the pulley is in excellent condition!

    The pictures will show such once posted. Even though the quoted question above was not directed to me, I felt I should give some input since I was the original/previous owner of that pulley.
    MY original reason for selling the ASP 8" Crank pulley was because I sold my Novi-1000 unit. I sold the 8" crank pulley to chuck, but as I understand, he needs his funds elsewhere, thus causing him to sell that pulley.

    My car to my knowledge was the only Novi-1000 car in existence in the U.S. or anywhere for that matter that ran an ASP 8" crank in conjunction with the Novi-1k setup aside from a customer of Jack's at muscle motors, that ran high 10's...

    My car felt stronger running the 8" crank pulley than what it did with the f150 crank pulley and nitrous combined as I ran on my setup. You can imagine then how it would feel having nitrous on top of the boost the 8" crank pulley would produce :)

    i want more boost, but am a little aprehensive about the 8incher, as it overrevs the little novi. in the back of my head i am wondering if it will make my 1k bite the bullet......

    I am thinking about trying the pulley this weekend to see what it works like but I have to get a new belt.

    I dont think it overspins the blower that much. Ian did the math on it awhile ago and it was like 1000 rpm over at 6000.
