just upgraded to 130amp alt not charging please help!
I just installed the 3g 130 amp alternator i got from pa perf. i followed the directions exactly as laid out i went with there premium long wire kit trimmed the 3 wires off the large plug connected the stator wire to the white wire with the black stripe.I think there are 2 possibilities one i got a defective alt.i doubt it but its possible i guess or my alternator is not getting energized .I am not sure wich wire in the small harness does that all replies will be greatly appreciated by the way i put a connector ring on the black/orange wire and connected those with the new 4 g power wire to the alt post the way i understood is you could either cap them off or connect them no difference if you run a 4g wire
