    SC-trim, helical cut gears or not?

    ok, im researching some new superchargers in hopes to get the right one for my interests. do the new SC-trims come offered with the helical gut gears for quieter operation? im thinking the new SC is the way i want to go but i would prefer a more silent approach than the regular straight cut gears.
    any info is appreicated!

    sc trim

    no they are not helical cut on 86-93 sc kits.

    hey there midnight, out of curiousity where did you get your info from? im asking cause i have heard otherwise since i last posted this thread. i heard all the vortech units other than the SQ units are straight cut. im just trying to get all the info down before i purchase a blower....

    sc trim & helical cut gears

    From vortech..all 86-93 sc kits are straight cut gears..96-98 cobra reverse rotation are helical cut
