My sn2000 is maxed out making 2psi at 5k on my 351c 4v pulleys are 6.5 and a 3.75.Would going to a 3.5 or a 3.33 blower pulley add more boost or just smoke the blower? Will a novi 1000 pulley fit? TIA

I think the rule of thumb is dividing the crank pulley by the blower pulley, then multipling that by 4.41, and then multiply that number by the RPM (5000), if it is more than 38,000 you have reached your limit. Do yo have the upgraded impeller? That would only get you about 2 PSI more.

Most likely do have the upgrade, the compresser is red.I found a few small boost leak today one is the chock lever hole was leaking pretty good and the other was the carb hat gasket was leaking just a little.
As soon as the snow melts I'll try it again. Most likely it's the blower is out of it's effiency range.Boost goes up to 4psi then dribbles down to 2psi by 5500rpm.As soon as I shift it pops back up to 4psi.
Fix the boost leak first, then check for beltslip under the blowerpulley (black pouder), the belt must be pretty tight.

Boost leak fixed now and I checked for black pouder from belt dust couldn't find any.I don't think it's belt slip cause the belt is tighter than I ran my vortech v2sq on a different car at 13psi,blower speed 50k with a 6rib.
Does a sn series have a high load at 40k?More than a gear driven blower?
Also were can I find a compressor map for a sn2000?
Here is a very interesting thread.. http://www.superchargerhelp.com/showthread.php?t=9421
How do i get the rivets out in the front of the blower to tightnen up the ball tension?

There are no rivets on the front cover but dustcaps, behind them are bolts.
Before you do anything you must check the ball drive tension with a torque wrench at the pulleybolt. It should be between 22 inch/lbs and 40 inch/lbs if it must be tighter then that you must use a oilcooler.
